  • 10-day retreat in Amazon and Andes with Ayahuasca and San PedroA retreat held on New Years eve for empowering our path, embrace mystery and celebrate the beauty of life.

The first 7 days we stay in rainforest of Amazon in Puerto Maldonado in a beautiful Corto Maltes Amazonia jungle lodge. The whole week is dedicated for enjoying vibrant tropical nature, its sounds, smells and colours while being immersed in a setting of master plant retreat. The night ceremonies will be followed with plenty of time for rest, walks in the nature, hike to a jungle Lake Sandoval. Few excursions offered in the retreat will provide just enough physical activity, to have closer connection with Amazon nature – home of Ayahuasca – and support more complete physical processing of medicine, while leaving plenty time for oneself.

On the second part of the retreat we travel to Cusco region. Although a very different environment with high mountains and dry climate, it is reachable by 40min flight, ascending from the jungle lowlands over the Andean mountain peaks. This region hosts a unique culture in its own with quiet a different history than that of Amazon basin tribes. It is also a home to another traditional Peruvian master plant – San Pedro – used in rituals, like Ayahuasca, for millennia.

The experience with San Pedro is the main element of this 3-day visit with which we conclude the retreat. For its unique qualities of monumental presence and deep balance San Pedro is a perfect master plant for closing a week intensive with Ayahuasca.

Medicine rituals in this retreat are guided by experienced facilitators, Edmunds and Alessandra (read About Us), who have studied the work with different Peruvian plant guides since 2005. We usually host small groups up to 15 people giving everyone necessary attention during the ceremonies and the retreat as whole.
