Ayahuasca and Iboga Retreats in Costa Rica

New Life Iboga offers iboga and ibogaine treatments at our beautiful center in San Ramon, Costa Rica. Our mission is to provide compassionate program options to others who are seeking to restore balance to their lives through spiritual and personal healing. We have developed a program that utilizes iboga and ayahuasca. Our program include 2 iboga ceremonies, yoga, a massage and a trip off-site. Spacing is limited for each treatment to be sure we can provide individualized support during such a profound experience.PROGRAMS
Our beautiful facility located in the mountains of San Ramon, Costa Rica, is secluded on a lush 20 acre property about an hour from SJO airport. All guest receive a private room and full ensuite bathroom. Guests are invited to use our pool and hot tub anytime during their stay. Our property is filled with lush vegetation, fruit trees and trails perfect for nature walks. Our facility also offers a comfortable back patio with incredible views of the Nicoya Gulf on the Paclific coast of Costa Rica.VIEW GALLERY
Respecting and honoring the tradition of iboga is extremely important to us. Our ceremonies are influenced by Bwiti, the spiritual practice that uses iboga as a sacrament. While we try to honor and incorporate the traditions of Bwiti into our program, our ceremonies are not a complete representation of the entire process you would experience at an initiation in Gabon. We try bridge the gap between ‘modern medicine’ and ‘traditional medicine’ to a harmonious balance between the two. CEREMONY INFO
Our staff, consisting of Matthew Mormello, Jeanae White and Wesley Burkart have all been involved working with ibogaine since 2014. After working together, Jeanae and Matt branched off to focus on ayahuasca while Wesley went on to work under the direction of two influential people in the iboga/ibogaine community. Matt traveled to Gabon in 2017 to complete initiation earning the name ‘Moukoukou mia Mogenda’ and he and Jeanae were married in a Bwiti ceremony. STAFF
We offer a joint program that incorporates both iboga and ayahuasca into a single retreat. We feel that each medicine offers something unique that contributes to overall well being. offers the convenience of having a program with iboga and ayahuasca offers each participant an rare opportunity to experience both medicines in one location for maximum benefit. New Life Iboga is the first and only center in Costa Rica to offer this unique program.Iboga and Ayahuasca
New Life Iboga places the safety of our guests as our highest priority. We offer ceremonies based on traditional iboga use while applying a western medical approach. We require all patients to complete medical screening to be certain ibogaine treatment can be safely administered. Based on the answers to these questions, we will determine what tests need to be done to determine if an individual is a candidate for ibogaine treatment. These tests usually include blood work and an EKG.Safety Info
