  • The Ayahuasca Medicine House was specifically built with your comfort in mind. The house is tiled, has electricity, ceiling and floor fans, very large kitchen with gas stove, oven, fridge and freezer, even a juicer. You cook what you wish to consume, usually shared by others in the house as well. The ceremonial space is in the back of the house, hardwood floors and floor to ceiling screening, faces deep six jungle just a meter away. The first week is $150 dollars and each week after that is $100 dollars. You pay the shaman directly, $50 per ceremony. Transparent. This is Alan Shoemaker's response to the outrageous prices being charged at many ayahuasca centers. It's comfortable, nice wind, good music, excellent library of shamanic literature, on the bus line and mini van line so easy access to and from Iquitos. The Shaman Jose Navas has a voice like you have never heard an icaro before, very experienced at 53 years old and we sometimes bring in his Mother, Banco Shaman, Adela Navas.
