    Shaman Jose Luis Diaz is a traditional medicine man, a Piaroa Master Shaman (Meñe ruwa – “singing healer”) that comes from a long lineage of spiritual healers, recognized by his people (community of Caño Pendare) and even by the Venezuelan Government since he has contributed with his knowledge, wisdom and experience to various studies and projects in Venezuela.

    He has traveled to several countries to provide his powerful and visionary medicines; he has visited USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and several Latin American nations. He was the founder of Center for Shamanic Healing in Caño Pendare, a school associated with the Bolivarian University of Venezuela.

    He employs various medicinal plants and power plants, specially: Nua (Yopo), Tuipa (Caapi) andDadä; which he shares in ceremonies in the same way it has been done for thousands of years by the Piaroas (Wó’tujá).
